These coasters can be made in a set of the same colour or one of each colour.

Materials 

Small amounts of Yarn and Colors Epic Aran weight 4 yarn in shades White, Violet, Orchis, Turquoise, Pesto, Golden Glow and Lollipop

4mm hook I use this set from Amazon*

Needle 

Scissors

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK

ch = chain

sc = single crochet (double crochet in UK)

dc = double crochet (treble crochet UK)

slst = slip stitch

** = repeat between

Starting with Golden Glow

Round 1: ch4, slst to first to form a ring, ch3, 1 dc, ch1, *2 dc, ch1* repeat four more times, slst to top of ch3. (12)

Change to White

Round 2: join yarn in any ch1 space, ch5, 2 dc in same, *ch1, (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc) in next ch1 space* repeat four more times, ch1, 1 dc where ch5 is, slst to third ch at beginning. (24)

Round 3: ch3, dc 6 in ch2 space, ch1, *dc 7 in ch2 space, ch1* repeat four times, slst to third ch at beginning.

Change to Colour of choice

Round 4: join yarn at the start of a petal, ch1, sc in same, sc 6, dc inbetween petal in ch1 space on the row below, *sc 7, dc inbetween petal in ch1 space on the row below* repeat four more times, slst to first.

Round 5: ch1, sc in same, sc 3, (sc, ch1, sc) in next, *sc 7, (sc, ch1, sc)* repeat four more times, sc 3, slst to first.

Fasten off and sew in the ends.
