Zoo Collection
I designed these baby zoo animal patterns in 2019 as part of a baby zoo collection (14 designs altogether) they are all very similar in design and are fairly simple to make for a beginner with the limbs crochet on to make less sewing, perfect if you struggle with sewing. They are all designed to be a nice cuddle size for a younger child.

Amigurumi tips for beginners
*Stuff as you go
*Learn the magic circle, watch Youtube videos showing how it’s done.
*If you're finding your work a bit holey, go down a hook size or use a thicker yarn.
*Use invisible decrease (decrease next two stitches by just going in the front loop of the next two stitches) there are plenty of youtube videos showing how its done
*Use stitch markers.
*Be sure you have the safety eyes in the correct place before putting stoppers on the back.
*Make sure you leave a long end when fastening off.
*Take your time.
*Always add more stuffing to the neck before sewing the last few stitches, to make sure it’s firm.
*Use pins to pin things in place before sewing, so you can line them up and see how it looks.
*When sewing features onto your amigurumi after its complete, insert yarn and sew a stitch somewhere not noticeable before sewing the parts you want, then again when you have finished so it doesn't come loose.
*If any holes are visible after attaching arms and legs to the body, close them up with a needle and thread.
