Free Monkey Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Written in US terms with abbreviations for UK terms
sc=single crochet (double crochet UK)
inc=increase by crocheting two into the next stitch
dec=decrease by crocheting the next two stitches together
ch=chain
Materials
40g Dk brown yarn for main colour
20g beige yarn
Small amount of dark brown yarn for nose and mouth
2mm hook I use this set from Amazon*
8mm Safety eyes or black yarn for sewn on eyes
Polyester toy stuffing
Needle
All parts are made going round in a spiral, attaching arms and legs as we go to make less sewing.
Monkey will measure approximately 11 inches from head to toe when finished (8 inches when sat)
Head (muzzle)
Starting with beige to make the muzzle piece first.

Fasten off leaving a long end to sew onto the head, sew a nose on the third round of muzzle and mouth around 6 rounds below using a dark brown yarn, sew it 3 stitches wide and 1.5 deep.

Pin the head in place and sew when happy with position, adding more stuffing before closing up to ensure it’s firm.
