This Koala is fairly simple to make with minimal sewing as the arms and legs are crocheted on. Only the ears and belly patch to sew, perfect if you don’t like sewing!
Koala will measure approximately 10 inches from head to toe when finished (7 inches when sat)

50g Dk/light worsted light grey yarn for main colour

With dark grey yarn, sew nose the row under eyes, right inbetween, 5 stitches wide and 4 stitches long in a sort of triangle, sew eyebrows 2 stitches diagonal above eye with dark grey yarn.

If any holes are visible after attaching arms and legs to the body, close them up with a needle and thread.
Belly patch
With fluffy yarn and 3mm hook
Ch7
Rnd1 Sc in second ch from hook and next 5. (6) turn
Rnd2 ch1, sc in same and next 5. (6) turn
Rnd3 ch1, sc in same and next 5. (6)
Fasten off and sew in ends then use white cotton to sew in place.
Pin the head in place and sew when happy with position, adding more stuffing before closing up to ensure firm.
Sew three claws with dark grey yarn on the bottom of arms, 2 stitches long and 2 stitches apart. Then sew three on the bottom of legs, 3 stitches long and 3 stitches apart.
