Small amount of DK, light weight 3 yarn
US Size C (2.5 mm) crochet hook I use this set from Amazon*
6-8 mm safety eyes

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK terms
sc=single crochet (double crochet in UK)
hdc=half double crochet (half treble crochet UK)
dc=double crochet (treble crochet UK)
ch=chain
slst=slip stitch
mc=magic circle
inc=increase (crochet 2 into the stitch)
dec=decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
Special Stitches
blo (back loop only) = crochet into the back loop only (not both loops)
flo (front loop only)= crochet into the front loop
bs=Bobble stitch (yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 stitches), five times, you should have 6 stitches on hook, yarn over and pull through all 6.
Bee
Body
Starting with yellow stuff as you go
Round 1: 6 sc in mc. (6)
Round 2: (inc) x 6. (12)
Round 3: (sc 1. inc) x 6. (18)
Round 4-5: sc all. (18)
Change to black (safety eyes between rounds 3 and 4)
Round 6-7: sc all. (18)
Change to yellow
Round 8-9: sc all. (18)
Change to black

Fasten off and sew closed.
Wings
Make two
Round 1: 5 sc in mc. (5)

Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Sew wings in place then sew key chain between them.
Insert safety eyes.
Sew a mouth and cheeks. Sew the key chain at the center top.
Sew the wings at each side of key chain.
Rainbow
Ch11 Starting with purple
Row 1: 2 sc in second ch from hook, 2 sc in the next, sc 7, 4 sc in the last, turn to work along the other side, sc 7, 2 sc in each of the last 2. (26)
Change colour after each row and join new yarn at the same side each time
Row 2: Blue Ch1, 2 sc in the same, 2 sc in the next, sc 9, 2 sc in the next 4, sc 9, 2 sc in the last 2. (34)
Row 3: Green Ch1, sc in the same, 2 sc in the next, sc 1, 2 sc in the next, sc 9, (sc 1, 2 sc in the next) x 4, sc 9, (sc 1, 2 sc in the next) x 2. (42)

Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Bottom shell

With the bottom shell inside facing, sew the head, then the tail opposite, then two legs at each side.
Sew the key chain to the center of top shell.
Place the top shell in place then sew around, placing stuffing before completely closing up.

Sew some cheeks and a mouth. Then sew the key chain to the top.
