3.5mm crochet hook

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK

ch = chain

sc = single crochet (double crochet in UK)

sc2tog = single crochet 2 together (double crochet 2 together UK)

slst = slip stitch

[ ] = in the same stitch

* * = repeat between

ch = chain

With blue ch9

Row 1: sc in the second chain from hook, sc 7. (8) Turn

Row 2: [2 sc] in the first, sc 6, [2 sc] in the last. (10) Turn

Row 3: [2 sc] in the first, sc 8, [2 sc] in the last. (12) Turn

Row 4: [2 sc] in the first, sc 10, [2 sc] in the last. (14) Turn

Fasten off, join white in the third stitch

Row 5: ch1, sc 10. (10) Turn

Row 6: sc2tog, sc 6, sc2tog. (8) Turn

Row 7: ch1, sc all. (8) Turn

Row 8: sc2tog, sc 4, sc2tog. (6) Turn

Row 9: ch1, sc all. (6) Turn

Row 10: sc2tog, sc 2, sc2tog. (4) Turn

Row 11: sc2tog x 2. (2) Turn

Fasten off, join brown and ch13, fasten off and sew to the bottom

Lifebuoy

With red ch10, slst to first, ch1, slst in each chain.
