Wreath

Using 2 strands of dk and a 5.5mm hook

Round 1: crochet around the wreath as video here, slst to the first.

Using 1 strand of dk and a 4mm hook

Round 2: ch1, sc in each stitch, slst to the first.

Round 3: ch1, [sc, ch12, sc] in the first (this creates a loop for hanging), skip 1, *[sc, ch2, sc], skip 1* repeat to end, slst to the first.

Fasten off.

Using 1 strand of green and 4mm hook

Row 1: ch23, sc in the second chain from hook, sc 21. (22) Turn

Row 2: ch1, loop stitch all. (22)

Row 3: ch1, sc all. (22)

Row 4: ch1, loop stitch all. (22)

Row 5: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 18, [sc 2 together]. (20) Turn

Row 6: ch1, loop stitch all. (20)

Row 7: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 16, [sc 2 together]. (18) Turn

Row 8: ch1, loop stitch all. (18)

Row 9: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 14, [sc 2 together]. (16) Turn

Row 10: ch1, loop stitch all. (16)

Row 11: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 12, [sc 2 together]. (14) Turn

Row 12: ch1, loop stitch all. (14)

Row 13: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 10, [sc 2 together]. (12) Turn

Row 14: ch1, loop stitch all. (12)

Row 15: ch1, [sc 2 together], sc 8, [sc 2 together]. (10) Turn

Row 16: ch1, loop stitch all. (10)

Trunk

Join brown yarn to the bottom 9th stitch

Row 1-6: ch1, sc in the same, sc 5. (6) Turn Fasten off with a long end.

Star

Round 1: make a magic circle, ch1, 5 sc into the circle, pull tight, slst to the first. (5)

Round 2: ch1, [sc, ch3, sc] in each stitch, slst to the first.

Fasten off

Sew in place then sew a yellow star at the top. I also sew on some little bells as baubles.
