This cute cluster stitch cardigan is worked from the top down, with a half double crochet (half treble UK) for the increased rows, then after dividing for the armholes a cluster stitch, which works up quickly.

Cl=Cluster stitch,yo, insert hook in st, yo, pull through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, (yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook) twice, yo, pull through all 4 loops on hook, ch1 to finish cluster.
Materials
60-80g Paintbox yarns dk LoveCrafts pistachio green
3.5, 4 & 4.5 mm hooks
3 x 15 mm buttons
Gauge Square
With 4mm hook
Row1 Ch11, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each chain across. (9) Turn
Row2-5 ch1, hdc in base of ch1, hdc 8. (9) Turn
Square should measure 2 x 2 inches.
If you're out with a 4mm hook try 4.5mm hook.
If you have problems hitting the length but the width is ok, try dc instead of hdc.

Row8 sc all increasing 7 evenly. (61) Turn
Change to 4.5mm hook
Row9 ch1, dc in base of ch1, *cl,sk1, cl* repeat to last stitch, dc. (30 clusters) Turn
Row10 Ch1, sc in base of ch1, ch1, *sc in between cluster, ch1* repeat to end, sc in last. Turn
Row11 ch1, dc in base of ch1, cluster in each ch1 space across, dc in last.
Repeat Row 10 and 11 until work measures approximately 7.5 Inches from the shoulder.
Sleeves
With 4mm hook
Row1 join yarn under arm, ch1, 1 hdc in base of ch1, 1 hdc in each of next 19, slst to first. (20) Turn
Row2 ch1, sc in same, sc all, slst to first. (20) Turn
Row3 ch1, *cl, sk1* repeat to end, slst to first. (10 clusters) Turn
Row4 ch1, *sc in between the cluster, ch1* repeat to end, slst to first. Turn
Row5 ch1, cluster in each ch1 space, slst to first. Turn
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until the sleeve measures 7 inches from shoulder.
Fasten off and repeat for the other sleeve.
Neck/Button/Buttonhole Band
With 3.5mm hook
With the right side facing, join yarn to the right and ch1, sc around the collar, ch1, dc down to bottom. Fasten off.
Join yarn at the bottom of the other side, ch1, dc same amount of stitches as the other side.
Fasten off make sure your buttons fit through the dc, then sew your buttons evenly down either side and sew in all the ends.
