Easter Bunny Bag / Wall Hanging
This wall hanging and bag are perfect for Easter, but could be made for any time of the year!
MATERIALS
Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 100% cotton (75 meters per 50g)
BAG 2 x (51) Baby Pink
WALL HANGING 1 x (51) Baby Pink
Small amounts in Shades
(05) Beige, (01) White, (54) Pink Berry Smoothie, (72) Cool Iris, (21) Pastel Yellow, (100) Pastel Green and (124) Black
4mm crochet hook
Scissors
A wooden dowel for the wall hanging
WRITTEN IN ENGLISH US CROCHET TERMS WITH ABBREVIATIONS FOR UK
sc = single crochet (double crochet UK)
hdc = half double crochet (half treble UK)
dc = double crochet (treble crochet UK)
tr = treble crochet (double treble crochet UK)
ch = chain
slst=slip stitch
hdc2tog = hdc 2 stitches together
Sc2tog = sc two stitches together
[ ] = these stitches should be completed into one stitch
* * = in between should be repeated the required times

Using these materials will make the bag the following size.

Using these materials will make the wall hanging the following size.

Using Baby Pink make 2 panels
Chain 25
Row 1: sc in the 2nd chain from hook, sc 23. (24) Turn
Rows 2-26: ch1, sc all. (24). Turn
EDGING
Round 1: At the end of row 26 do not turn, (working down the side), ch1, [sc, ch2, sc], sc 24 down the side, (working a sc at the side of each row), [sc, ch2, sc] in the last, sc 24 across the bottom, working up the other side, [sc, ch2, sc], sc 24, [sc, ch2, sc] in the last, sc 24 across the top, slst to the first.
Join Cool Iris in the ch2 corner
Round 2: ch1, [sc, ch2, sc] in the ch2 corner, ch1, skip 1, *sc, ch1, skip 1* repeat to the next corner, [sc, ch2, sc] in the corner, ch1, skip 1, *sc, ch1, skip 1* repeat to the next corner, [sc, ch2, sc] in the corner, ch1, skip 1, *sc, ch1, skip 1* repeat to the next corner, [sc, ch2, sc] in the corner, ch1, skip 1, *sc, ch1, skip 1* repeat to the last corner, slst to the first.
Join Pastel Yellow in the ch2 corner

Make some appliques, some free ones can be found here. Sew the appliques on before joining.
JOINING THE PANELS
Using baby pink
Place both panels together and work through both sides, starting at the top left, using baby pink, ch1, [sc, ch2, sc] in the ch2 corner, [sc, ch2, sc] in each ch1 / ch2 space, when you reach the top of the bag, just work one side so it’s left open, then work the other side of the top. Continue to the strap
STRAP
With the wrong side facing, start 2 stitches before the side join
Row 1: ch1, sc 5. Turn
Repeat row 1 for as long as you want the strap, Fasten off with a long end and sew to the other side. See video

Row 1: sc in the 2nd chain from hook, sc 29. (30) Turn

Edging
Join baby pink at the top left. The video for joining the bag shows how to chain to fit over the dowel.
ch1, [sc, ch2, sc] in the ch2 corner, [sc, ch2, sc] in each ch1 / ch2 space, when you reach the top of the wall hanging, working in each ch1 space [sc, chain required stitches to fit over your wooden dowel, sc] all the way across the top.
