Garden Party Coasters

These colourful garden flower coasters will be perfect for a summer garden party. They measure 4” x 4” each.

Materials 

Small amounts of Yarn and Colors Epic Aran weight 4 yarn in shades Violet, Orchid, Turquoise, Pesto, Golden Glow and Lollipop

4mm hook I use this set from Amazon*

Needle 

Scissors

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK

ch=chain

sc = single crochet (double crochet in UK)

dc = double crochet (treble crochet UK)

slst = slip stitch

inc = increase (crochet 2 stitches into the stitch)

** = repeat between

Starting with Golden Glow

Round 1: chain 4, *dc, ch1* x 11 in a magic circle, slst to ch4. (12 dc)

Change to Lollipop

Round 2: ch2, 3 dc in same,*remove hook from stitch and insert in top of first dc from front to back, insert into last dc and pull loop through, ch2, 3 dc into next stitch* repeat to end, ch2, slst to first. (12 petals)

Change to Pesto

Round 3: join yarn in any ch2 space, ch1, 4 sc in the same, 4 sc in each ch2 space, slst to first. (48)

Change to Turquoise

Round 4: ch1, sc in the same, sc 6, inc, *sc 7, inc* x 5, slst to first. (54)

Change to Violet

Round 5: ch1, sc in the same, sc 7, inc, *sc 8, inc* x 5, slst to first. (60)

Change to Orchid

Round 6: ch1, sc in the same, sc in each stitch. slst to first. (60)

Fasten off and sew in all the ends.
