3.5mm crochet hook

Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK 

sc = single crochet (double crochet UK)

hdc = half double crochet (half treble crochet UK)

fphdc = front post half double crochet (front post half treble crochet UK)

bphdc = back post half double crochet (back post half treble crochet UK)

ch = chain

hdc2tog = hdc the next 2 stitches together (half treble the next two together UK)

slst = slip stitch

* * = repeat between

[ ] = in the same stitch

With colour 1

Round 1: make a magic circle, ch2, 8 hdc into the circle, pull tight, slst to the first. (8)

Round 2: ch2, [2 hdc] in each stitch, slst to the first. (16)

Change to colour 2

Round 3: ch1, sc all, slst to the first. (16)

Round 4: ch2, hdc 16, slst to the first. (16)

Round 5: ch1, sc all, slst to the first. (16)

Round 6: ch2, hdc 16, slst to the first. (16)

Round 7: ch1, sc all, slst to the first. (16)

Change to colour 1

Heel 

Rows 8-9: ch2, hdc 8. (8) Turn

Row 10: ch1, hdc2tog, hdc 4, hdc2tog. (6) 

Fasten off with a long end, fold row 10 in half and sew together from the inside.

Join colour 2 at the centre of heel

Round 11: ch2, hdc 6 across side of heel, hdc 8 around foot, hdc 6 across heal, slst to first. (20)

Round 12: ch1, sc all, slst to first. (20)

Round 13: ch2, hdc 19, slst to first. (20)

change to colour 1

Round 14: ch2, hdc 19, slst to first. (20)

Round 15: ch1, *fphdc, bphdc* repeat to end, slst to first, ch12, slst to under first chain. (20)

Fasten off.
