Row 1: With the right side facing, join yarn and ch1, sc in same and each stitch across.

Row 2: ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, sc 2, bs, *sc 3, bs* repeat to end, slst to first. Turn

Row 3-5: ch1, sc all, slst to first. Turn

Row 6: ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, bs, *sc 3, bs* repeat to end, sc in last 2, slst to first. Turn

Row 7-9: ch1, sc all, slst to first. Turn

Repeat rows 2 - 9 until the hood measures 5 inches

Button / Buttonhole Band

Row 1: with the right side facing, join yarn to the base of the right hand side front edge, ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, sc evenly all the way round to the bottom of the left hand side. Turn.

Mark out where you want the button holes with stitch markers or scrap yarn.

Row 2: (Buttonhole row) ch1, sc in base of ch1, sc in all but ch1, sk1 at each button hole marker. Turn.

Row 3: ch1, sc in the base of ch1 and sc in all including chains. 

Fasten off and sew the buttons on the opposite side to match the button holes and weave in all ends.

Sleeves

With 4mm hook

Row 1: join yarn to first un-worked sc under arm, ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, 1 sc in each of next 19, slst to first sc on beginning of row. (20) Turn

Row 2: ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, sc 2, bs, *sc 3, bs* repeat to end, slst to first. (20) Turn

Row 3-5: ch1, sc all, slst to first. (20) Turn

Row 6: ch1, 1 sc in base of ch1, bs *sc 3, bs* repeat to end, sc in last 2, slst to first. (20) Turn

Row 7-9: ch1, sc all, slst to first. (20) Turn

Repeat rows 2-9 until the sleeve measures 7 inches from the shoulder, ending with a bobble row.

Cuffs 

Row 1: ch1, *sc 8, dec* x 2, slst to first. (18) Turn

Row 2-3: ch1, sc all, slst to first. (18) Turn

 Fasten off and repeat for the other sleeve.
