PATTERN NOTES
The pattern stitch used is the lemon peel stitch also known as the griddle stitch. Sc in the previous dc, dc in the previous sc. You will always start with a sc and end with a dc.
This beanie is worked from the top down.
Each size is written separately.
The pattern is worked in joined rounds that are turned after each round. This helps with a neat seam and brings out the texture of the stitch.
The ch1 does not count as a stitch.
Example of how pattern works (*sc, dc* repeat between * * x 1, *[sc, dc] in the next* x 2 repeat between * * x 2) , repeat between ( ) x 5.
