Small amounts of dk weight 3 yarn in yellow
3.5mm crochet hook
Written in English US terms with abbreviations for UK
ch = chain
sc = single crochet (double crochet in UK)
hdc = half double crochet (half treble crochet UK)
dc = double crochet (treble crochet UK)
slst = slip stitch
[ ] = in the same stitch
* * = repeat between
ch = chain
Small Sun
Using yellow
Round 1: Make a magic circle, ch2, 10 hdc into the circle, slst to first. (10)
*Ch4, slst in the second chain from hook, sc 2, slst in the next stitch of the circle, ch7, slst in the second chain from hook, sc 5, slst to the next stitch of the circle* x 5
Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Medium Sun
Using yellow
Round 1: Make a magic circle, ch2, 9 hdc into the circle, slst to first. (9)
Round 2: [2 hdc] in each stitch, slst to first. (18)

Row 2: ch1, [2 sc] in the first, sc 3, [2 sc] in the last. (7) Turn
Row 3: ch1, [2 sc] in the first, sc 5, [2 sc] in the last. (9) Turn
Row 4: ch1, [2 sc] in the first, sc 7, [2 sc] in the last. (11) Turn
Row 5: ch1, [2 sc] in the first, sc 9, [2 sc] in the last. (13) Turn
Row 6-7: ch1, sc all. (13) Turn
Sc 1 in the side of each stitch up the side, sc 3 across the top, sc 1 in the side of each row down the other side, ch3, slst in third chain from hook, *sc 4 across the bottom, ch3, slst in third chain from hook* x 3. Fasten off
Join brown yarn at the bottom centre, ch13, slst in second chain from hook, slst 11. Fasten off
Join blue yarn at the centre top and slst to the left bottom point. Fasten off and repeat to slst to the right bottom point.
